Please remember, you should only call 999 in an emergency!!

Mobile phoneFirst, the caller dials 999. The operator asks which service you require. The call is then passed to the nearest fire control room...

Control operatorThen, a fire control operator will ask you for some details and the address of the fire. Control will then mobilise the nearest fire engine...

Sounders link At the fire station, our sounders will go off and we will receive a printout telling us all the details of the Fire... (click on the bell to hear the sounders)
